Price list for the grocery items

 You might wonder how cheap things are in the philippines. So I took some photos in the supermarket.

1 liter carton milk is 67 peso, about $1.6. 

0.5 liter bottled water is 9.5 peso, about 25 cents. 

Well... not everything is cheap here. Some fruits are quite expensive. Especially plums and peaches are over priced since these are not locally produced in the Philippines. 

Prices for Hot dogs and Sandwiches

One regular Burger for 30 peso, which is about $1. Footlong hot dog is 40 peso, which is a bit more than $1.20. Who can resist this price! One bottle of local beer is 30 peso as well, which means you can have a burger and a beer for $2 in the philippines. FYI it's 2013 price.

One thing to remember. This kind of burger shops don't offer real tomato ketchup. Instead, they use banana ketchup that is made of banana syrup and red food coloring. It seems like ketchup but tastes nothing like real ketchup.
